+ its Rudder Ready

What does that mean?

Rudder ready means that with no modification or holes in your boat you can fit the wilderness rudder system with ease. The tubes and many fittings are already in place so you can have a rudder on in a few minutes with basic tools. We can fit the rudder system for you for $329.95 or supply it for you to DIY.

The benefit of choosing a rudder ready craft is that most people are unsure if they will need a rudder, or buy a kayak thinking they dont need one then later realise they have bought the wrong boat. With a rudder ready kayak, you can go without the rudder and save the cash, then add the rudder later if you find you need it. the kicker is that it costs no more to add the rudder later than it does initially which is rarely the case. So you don't have to make a decision about the rudder before you know.
