Harmony Keeper XL Footrest - Slidelock

The Harmony Slidelock footbrace kit enables you to adjust the length of your foot rests whilst you are sitting in the kayak. The XL sized foot pads are ergonomically angled and padded with soft grippy rubber for greater comfort and control with or without shoes. Use as an upgrade to existing footrests or as a new install.

The Harmony Slidelock footbrace kit adjusts via an extension rod that places positioning literally at your fingertips. No more reaching down into the hull to find that hidden trigger. Simply lift the grip at the end of the rod, slide pedal to the desired position and lower grip. It has a 38cm (15″) range of pedal adjustment. The slide lock is specifically designed to provide a secure foot brace position and to resist “pop-out”. Aggressive foot pedals help cold wet feet stay in place yet are comfortable on bare feet. Retro-fittable to conventional foot brace systems. Kit includes a pair of foot braces with adjusting rod and mounting hardware.

Great solution for home built kayaks or as an upgrade to existing pedals

Typically this is not used with sit on top kayaks as you can reach behind the footrest to use the traditional trigger system.

This kit works with many models of kayaks and hole sizing is compatible with older model keepers footrests (post 2005). The rails on the XL are longer and the foot pegs are larger so may not suit tight cockpits. These are differentiated into left and right pedals due to the angling of the pedals
