Wavesport Whiteout Backband

Wave Sport Core Whiteout replacement back band. Suites many models of Wave Sport kayaks. Can also be adapted to fit other brands of kayaks.

This has the white fabric with black wavesport logo printed on it so will match more recent models from wavesport. This back band is still compatible with older models with black or grey outfitting but the colour won’t match. Wilderness systems or Dagger may provide a closer colour to your existing outfitting with ease of installation being similar/same/easier depending on the model you choose and your boat.

This Backband is largely the same as those found on some models of kayak from Dagger, Wilderness Systems, and Perception kayaks. Colours, Fabrics and strap colours will vary and method of attachment at the end of the strap will also vary.

This back band can easily fitted into existing straps (into the seat pillar) as well as those including those with cockpit adjustment (ratchet buckles on the coaming). This is done by threading existing straps through the buckles in the (removable) centre strap through that straps sewn in side release buckles. There should be no need to remove any existing straps in these cases.

WaveSport Kayaks that have fitted this backband include most current models of the their white water line and some of their touring kayaks but the straps will vary depending on the level of outfitting.

Hydra- Variation in the attachment points for rear coaming (replaces the side release buckles with 2 plastic D rings on webbing in the same place.

You may need extra straps if yours are in poor condition
