Dagger Kayaks OEM Back Band

The Perfect replacement for your OEM Waka backband, or an easy retro fit for other boats

This kayak backrest is fitted with kayak ratchet straps to suit Dagger white water kayaks (may also fit other brands including WaveSport), offering a good range of adjustment and are easily fitted to your kayak. Whilst these are designed for use in Dagger Kayaks, they will also fit other brands of kayak.

Comes with an additional 3 short straps and a 3 arm cherry expansion  rivet suitable for attaching to plastic and fibreglass without pulling through. These straps are used to hold the backrest up and in position as well as to help it hold it’s shape. Each strap comes with a side release buckle to allow detaching them for easy access behind the backrest (for storage) into the rear of the kayak.

1 strap (and rivet) is to connect the bottom of the back band to the back of the seat’s bottom rest.
