The 4 foam blocks clips onto the gunnel of any craft with a long enough cockpit, such as a double kayak or canoe. the canoe is inverted on the roof of the car and the four foam blocks spread the load of the craft nicely around the roof of the vehicle.

The supplied straps then go over the boat and through the doorways. The supplied ropes are used as bow and stern lines.
